Guests to Soar Around The World At Epcot & Disneyland

Disney has released some details about the new version of Soarin’ which will be coming to both Epcot in Walt Disney World & Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort. This is an extremely popular attraction in both Epcot & DCA, and it’s on my must-do list every time I’m at a Disney park. Both resorts are getting new digital projectors & screens for Soain’ Around the World. This has been a complaint from many guests saying that the projection system looked out of date and took away from Soarin’s immersion. I had the pleasure of riding Soarin’ Over California before the renovations at Disney California Adventure. I was amazed each and every time I rode it & would get right back in line after it was over. Soarin’ Over California was THE attraction in DCA for me, so I really excited to see both parks getting a much needed update.

Disney is also currently building a third theater for Soarin’ at Epcot to help with the extremely long wait times. Last time I visited Epcot the average wait time was above the 2 hour mark without a fastpass. Since we only had a day in Epcot I wasn’t able to ride Soarin’. I would prioritize a fastpass for Soarin’ over Test Track simply due to Test Track’s single rider line. I’ve already secured fastpasses for Soarin’ during my Fall trip, so expect an update as to the current state of Soarin’ at Epcot.
