Review | Tony’s Town Square Restaurant

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant should seem familiar to fans of Lady & The Tramp. It’s where the duo had their iconic spaghetti kiss! The real restaurant is located in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida. It’s in Town Square which is the first part of the park you enter. Even though it’s a big restaurant it can be somewhat hidden. I didn’t even know where it was until I had booked the reservation! I guess that’s the beauty of the theming at Disney World. My full review of Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is after the jump.

As the theming suggests, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is an Italian/American restaurant. The menu can be found on Disney’s Website. I went for dinner in the Fall of 2015 with my family during their first trip to Disney World. The restaurant was very busy at the time we went. This was partially due to the time of day and also the fact that the Magic Kingdom doesn’t have many (good) table service restaurants. We had an ADR (Advanced Dining Reservation) so we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table. Disney World is one of the few places were a reservation only allows you to eat at a restaurant. Not really get you seated at the time you booked. Many times I’ve seen a restaurant be reservation only for Dinner at Disney World, so book one but realize you’ll most likely be waiting.

Back to Tony’s I had the Cannelloni with Amaretto Cheesecake for desert. Both my entree & desert were really good. The service was fast & friendly as I would expect for Disney World. I get the dining plan every trip so we didn’t have to worry about prices. Tony’s is one dining credit if you’re on the regular dining plan. However, looking at the menu, the prices for Tony’s don’t seem bad at all. If you have a large party you’ll certainly save money by visiting a quick service restaurant, but for a table service restaurant in Magic Kingdom they’re pretty good.

The best part of our dinner had to do with the restaurant’s location. We ate a “late” dinner since it was our first night in Florida & our bodies were still on Mountain time. Our dinner ended just as the Main Street Electrical Parade was beginning. We were able to see some of the parade from our table & ended up watching the rest of the parade from the patio area in front of the restaurant. It was the perfect viewing location & we didn’t have to wait at all for our good spot!

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for a good table service restaurant and can’t get reservations for Cinderella’s or Be Our Guest then I highly recommend Tony’s Town Square Restaurant. It’s good food for decent prices. Also, try to plan your meal around the parades & ask for a table with a view of Town Square. You certainly won’t be disappointed.
