Disney has released a very short clip of the new animatronics which will be featured in Avatar Land in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It’s well known that I’m not especially looking forward to the new land simply because I’m not a fan of Avatar (is anyone nowadays?). However, this new video makes me excited to see just what Disney has in store for guests at the park! Check out the video after the jump!

My favorite animatronic based purely on realism is currently Captain Jack Sparrow at the end of the Pirates of Caribbean ride. The first time I saw it I was surprised at just how real and fluid his motions looked. After seeing this video it looks like we might have a new winner in the realism category.
