Now that guests are able to enter Main Street USA and the Hub at Magic Kingdom an hour before the park officially opens Disney has announced some new breakfast options coming to Casey’s Corner and the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. Quick Service breakfast is one of the things that I don’t really like about Disney food. I usually prefer to grab breakfast at my resort or a table service restaurant. Will these new offerings change that for me? More details after the jump.
First off we have Casey’s Corner. This restaurant is either a love it or hate it. Personally I’m not a huge fan of Casey’s. The new breakfast offerings here include the standard muffins, bagels and croissant bagels. The featured item is the new Hash Brown Dog. This is exactly what it sounds like. A huge hot dog with hashbrowns. This looks tasty but I don’t know if I’d want this for breakfast!
Next up is the Plaza Ice Cream Palor because the first thing that comes to mind when I think of breakfast is ice cream. The parlor will serve Mickey Waffles (yay!!), Kelloggs cereal and donuts. The real showstopper here is the new Donut Sundae. Again, this is not something I’d normally associate with breakfast but hey you’re on vacation so go for it! This sundae has a donut with a scoop of your choice of ice cream, hot fudge, apple, whipped cream, peanut butter and chocolate chips, and a cherry on top!
I’m sure these will all be big sellers for Disney. I might try one of them on my next trip. Which new breakfast item are you excited to try? Leave your comments below or as always, feel free to reach out on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook!
