Guests at Disneyland Resort in California are experiencing some major nostalgia with the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade. Leaving the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World after running off and on from 1977 the parade is making a brief stop at Disneyland before being retired. I wasn’t exactly sad to see the parade leave the Magic Kingdom. It’s a very cool parade but I don’t have that nostalgic connection that other Disney fans have. In fact the first time I went to Disneyland as a kid we went shopping on Main Street when the parade was happening. I guess I was more interested in a plush Mickey than the parade. As an adult I’ve always stopped to watch some of the parade every time I was in the Magic Kingdom. It’s definitely something everyone should see but I much prefer the Disneyland 60th parade, Paint The Night, more than the Electrical Parade.
