After using the Quick Service restaurants in Pandora – The World of Avatar as a test bed, Disney will be expanding the newly added Mobile Order service to select Magic Kingdom restaurants. This mobile ordering service allows guests to order their food using the My Disney Experience app and simply tap a “I’m here” button at the restaurant to skip the line. Check out which restaurants will be getting the new service after the jump.
Tomorrowland Terrace, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, Pinocchio Village Haus, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café and Columbia Harbour House will be added to the mobile ordering service soon. This will help with restaurants like Comic Ray’s which is always busy! You’ll be able to go and grab a table right away and the app will tell you where to pickup your food when it’s ready.
As of right now mobile ordering is only available for guests using a credit card to pay for their meal. Disney Dining Plan guests can not use the service and must follow the usual procedures for ordering at any of these restaurants. Hopefully mobile ordering will take off and the normal lines will be shorter!
