As a total surprise to absolutely no one, Disney has announced that a new fireworks show will be replacing the traditional Holiday Wishes at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Both the Christmas and Halloween parties are getting revamped entertainment for this year! Hit the jump for more details on the new show.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show will be shown nightly during MVMCP in the Magic Kingdom. The show will include classic Christmas music and most likely take advantage of the upgraded castle projections. Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas Time Parade will still take place during party nights.

The dates for this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are

• November: 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24
• December: 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22
