This year’s round of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties kicked off last night and Disney has finally revealed what we’ll be able to snack on an buy during the party! Video | Check Out Highlights From the Fourth of July Magic Kingdom Fireworks

Disney has been on a roll with their live stream events lately. I absolutely love these! It gives those of us the chance to watch an event that we’d otherwise miss. Of course, I’d rather experience these in person but when you live across the country that isn’t always possible. Disney has posted the highlights from their Fourth of July live stream. Check out the video after the jump.

Jungle Book: Alive With Magic Opens to Mixed Reviews

So the big nighttime spectacular for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a park that until now has never been open at night, debuted this past week. Jungle Book: Alive With Magic shows off the new Jungle Book movie on the lake near Everest in Animal Kingdom. Now, this is not Rivers of Light that was first announced to be the show in Animal Kingdom. Jungle Book: Alive With Magic is here for a limited time and I would think of it has a precursor to the more permanent Rivers of Light. Hit the jump to hear some reactions of the new show.

Ticket Prices Increased For Both Mickey’s Not-So-Scary & Mickey’s Very Merry

Tickets have gone on sale today for both Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party & Mickey’s Verry Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World in Florida. However it looks like Disney has both raised ticket prices across the board and introduced a more complicated pricing structure. This can mean that an event which was already pretty expensive to begin with might now be out of many guests budgets. Hit the jump for details on what you can expect to pay and for any discounts on these tickets.

2016 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Dates Announced

Hot on the heels of announcing the dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party it looks like Disney has announced the dates for their annual Christmas party in the Magic Kingdom. They seem to have announced these dates in a more low key manner (probably to not draw away attention from the Halloween party since that’s coming up sooner!). I actually can’t find the announcement on my usual sources, but Disney did in fact release these dates. Hit the jump for more on Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Osborne Lights Fade To Black On Last Night Of Display

After twenty years of dazzling guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studio the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights unfortunately drew to a close last night. Hollywood Studios was packed for the event. In fact so many guests showed up that the Hollywood Studios parking lot reached capacity & guests were being redirected to Animal Kingdom where they were bussed back to Hollywood Studios. Disney of course sent the display off with a fitting tribute! Checkout the jump for a video of the very last song from the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights.

Star Wars Weekends No More At Disney’s Hollywood Studios

With all the construction set to begin soon & the addition of Star Wars Land on the horizon Disney has decided to axe one of Hollywood Studio’s most popular events. Star Wars weekends has been discontinued with 2015 being it’s last year. Disney is saying that since more and more Star Wars content will be coming to the parks guests will be able to enjoy the Force every day rather than a few select weekends during the year. Hopefully they will do Star Wars themed events during the year since having the entire park devoted to Star Wars was pretty cool. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what impact Star Wars Land has on the park.
