It looks like some changes are in store for the iconic Cinderella Castle in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom! Disney has announced that work will be starting soon to give the castle a makeover.

As a total surprise to absolutely no one, Disney has announced that a new fireworks show will be replacing the traditional Holiday Wishes at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Both the Christmas and Halloween parties are getting revamped entertainment for this year! Hit the jump for more details on the new show.
This year’s round of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties kicked off last night and Disney has finally revealed what we’ll be able to snack on an buy during the party! In years past, Disney has released this info well ahead of the parties. It seems that they’re breaking with tradition and waited until the first one to show the rest of us these goodies!
The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World is getting a highly anticipated roller coaster in Tomorrowland. Disney has released some details on the construction of the new attraction and how it will impact some of the other rides in the park. The Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen is a table service restaurant located in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida. The restaurant is themed after the popular and classic Disney attraction, The Jungle Cruise. Located in Adventureland it’s one of Disney World newest restaurants, but is it any good? After several delays and a year-long wait, the Hall of Presidents in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will reopen on December 18th, 2017. Imagineers have added the animatronic of President Donald Trump. Hit the jump for images and a video of the new animatronic in action!
Disney has announced that all Walt Disney World parks will be closing Saturday evening with hopes of re-opening on Tuesday morning. The resorts will remain open to house guests currently at Disney World. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will be completely closing since guest accommodations can not withstand hurricane force winds. Hurricane Irma is expected to impact the entire state of Florida. Disney has begun announcing the precautions they’re taking to handle the storm. Unfortunately, they have decided to cancel the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be cancelled. Irma will likely already be over Florida by this time so, I certainly don’t blame Disney. Disney has just announced that Shanghai Disneyland’s most popular attraction the TRON Light Cycles will be coming to Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom! The park will be getting a slight expansion to accommodate the new attraction. More details after the jump.
Disney has been on a roll with their live stream events lately. I absolutely love these! It gives those of us the chance to watch an event that we’d otherwise miss.
