After using the Quick Service restaurants in Pandora – The World of Avatar as a test bed, Disney will be expanding the newly added Mobile Order service to select Magic Kingdom restaurants. This mobile ordering service allows guests to order their food using the My Disney Experience app and simply tap a “I’m here” button at the restaurant to skip the line. There are certain things that make crowd levels very predictable. Annual events such as New Year’s, Spring Break, Summer vacation, etc and the opening of anything new at the Disney Parks. Memorial weekend 2017 marked two big grand openings for Disney Parks. Pandora – The World of Avatar finally opened its gates at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park while Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission Breakout opened at Disney’s California Adventure. The crowds were not only predictable but also surprised me in some aspects.

Disney is opening up Animal Kindgom’s newest land a bit early to Annual Passholders and DVC members! Start on May 13th, Annual Passholders & DVC members will be able to experience Pandora – The World of Avatar before the general public! I’ve speculated in the past about what Disney may do for previewing Pandora. Annual Passholders & DVC members will not be able to just waltz into Pandora. There’s a process for this one! The new land in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park is gearing up to finally allow guests inside! As of today guests can start making their FastPass+ reservations for the two attractions in Pandora – The World of Avatar. If you’re only going to be in Animal Kingdom for one day you’ll definitely need to think long and hard about which attraction deserves that precious FastPass! The marketing surrounding Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park sure is ramping up! So far Disney has been very careful with what they have shown. Multiple videos and shows have shown essentially the same areas of the new land. Nightline gives us a very quick glimpse at something Disney has not shown before! ABC’s The View has been broadcasting from Walt Disney World this week and thanks to James Cameron and Whoopi Goldberg we have a more detailed look into Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park! The Avatar themed land that has been under construction for quite some time now at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park finally has an opening date! Guests of the Walt Disney World will be able to experience the new land starting on May 27th! It looks like new dining options and major attractions will be coming along with the new land. Pandora – The World of Avatar is almost complete and it’s only a matter of time before guests are able to walk around this new land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney has released a very short clip of the new animatronics which will be featured in Avatar Land in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It’s well known that I’m not especially looking forward to the new land simply because I’m not a fan of Avatar (is anyone nowadays?).
