Disney is on a construction fever lately! They are currently in the process of adding a major new tower to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, building the brand new Disney Riviera Resort and now they just announced another Deluxe Villa DVC resort! Check out more details about the new resort after the jump.
Disney has announced that one of best moderate resorts is getting a major addition! Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will be getting additional guest rooms and dining options in the form of a fifteen story tower. We’ve reviewed Coronado Springs in the past and mentioned how its spread out nature can be a draw back. This huge tower may turn this resort into an absolute must stay for me.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is the oldest moderate resort at Walt Disney World in Florida. It’s also the largest resort on property at over two hundred acres and 2109 rooms. I stayed here for the first time during October of 2016. The resort has just undergone a major renovation and every room is newly remodeled so I wasn’t worried that it was the oldest moderate. What is it like to stay at the largest Walt Disney World resort hit the jump for my review of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.
After reviewing Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort (which is a deluxe villa resort) & thought it’d be good to do a review of a resort on the other end of the spectrum. I’d say that this review will apply to far more people than the Bay Lake review. Disney’s All-Star Movies is a value level resort in the Animal Kingdom resort area in Walt Disney World. The value resorts are perfect for those with large groups or those who want to maximize their time in the parks and use the hotel only for sleeping and showering. What did I think of the All-Star Movies? Hit the jump for details on the resort and my thoughts about whether you should stay there as well.
When it comes to guests resort preferences at Disney World there are really only two types of people. There are those who’s main goal is to spend as much time in the parks as possible. This leaves them free to book the cheapest hotel possible since it’ll be used as a “crash pad” just for sleeping and showering. Then, there are those who plan to spend time at the resort and use the available amenities. I seem to drift in and out of those two categories depending on the trip. During my Fall 2015 trip I had the privilege of taking my three younger siblings to Disney World for their first time and I wanted the trip to be memorable. What better way to help add to the memories than stay at a Deluxe Villa resort for their first trip! So I booked a lake view studio at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort (that full name really is a mouthful!). Hit the jump for details on the resort, it’s amenities and our time spent enjoying the resort.
