Solo Trip to WDW

Going to Disney World Solo

Disney World vacations are most often thought of as family experiences that create memories to last a lifetime. Going to Disney World alone is not something that most people would think of or even consider. I’ve gone to Disney parks with both friends and family in the past, but┬áhad never been alone. This last October I decided to try out the parks on a “quick” solo trip of four┬ádays. Did the experience live up to my past trips and will I be repeating a solo trip to Disney parks in the future? Hit the jump for my experiences and how to make the most out of your solo trip.

My Three Favorite Attractions From Each of The Walt Disney World Parks

There’s probably one question that I get asked more than anything else. That question is “What’s your favorite, or best, attraction at [INSERT PARK NAME HERE]?” This question is very subjective but there are certain attractions that I must experience every time I’m at Walt Disney World in Florida. Review | Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort

After reviewing Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort (which is a deluxe villa resort) & thought it’d be good to do a review of a resort on the other end of the spectrum. I’d say that this review will apply to far more people than the Bay Lake review. Disney’s All-Star Movies is a value level resort in the Animal Kingdom resort area in Walt Disney World. The value resorts are perfect for those with large groups or those who want to maximize their time in the parks and use the hotel only for sleeping and showering. What did I think of the All-Star Movies? Hit the jump for details on the resort and my thoughts about whether you should stay there as well.

Review | Tony’s Town Square Restaurant

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant should seem familiar to fans of Lady & The Tramp. It’s where the duo had their iconic spaghetti kiss! The real restaurant is located in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida. It’s in Town Square which is the first part of the park you enter. Even though it’s a big restaurant it can be somewhat hidden. I didn’t even know where it was until I had booked the reservation! I guess that’s the beauty of the theming at Disney World. My full review of Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is after the jump.

There’s nothing quite like strolling along Main Street USA with Christmas music playing in the background (and it might even be snowing!!). I count the holiday season at Disney World as something everyone should experience at least once in their lives (every year would be even better!). Each of the parks has its own holiday traditions & decor. Hit the jump to see how you could be spending the holidays at Walt Disney World.

What To Pack For A Day At Walt Disney World

So you’ve checked into your hotel and are about to head off to a fun filled day at the parks. What do you bring with you? Most people aren’t prepared for a day at the parks and end up buying necessities at the various stores in each park. This can be expensive and it really takes time away from other, more fun, activities. Let’s go over what’s typically in my day bag when visiting Walt Disney World and what you should bring along.
