Famous Scene in Pirates Ride to be Changed

Well this is one that I’m certainly not happy with. Pirates of the Caribbean is currently being refurbished and changed at Disneyland Paris. Well, Disney has announced that some of the changes being made in Paris will be coming to both Disneyland Resort and the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Alcohol Included on the 2018 Disney Dining Plan

Up until now, those who wished to enjoy an “adult beverage” while at Disney World had to pay for them out of pocket. The Disney Dining Plan only covered non-alcoholic drinks. Mobile Ordering Coming to Magic Kingdom Restaurants

After using the Quick Service restaurants in Pandora – The World of Avatar as a test bed, Disney will be expanding the newly added Mobile Order service to select Magic Kingdom restaurants. This mobile ordering service allows guests to order their food using the My Disney Experience app and simply tap a “I’m here” button at the restaurant to skip the line. Tickets on Sale for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Like clockwork Disney has made tickets available for both Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Also, as a surprise to no one prices have gone up again. This year the cheapest ticket for the Halloween party is $74 and $89 for the Christmas party. Most nights are in the $90s for both parties. Hit the jump for details on the dates for both parties.

Disney Imagineers are hard at work on the new castle projection show, Happily Ever After, that is set to replace the Celebrate the Magic. Even though the current show has been around since 2012 I still think it’s awesome. The first time I saw Cinderella Castle lit up for the show was awe inspiring! I can’t wait for the updated show which is debuting on May 12th. Disney has released a video showing the behind the scenes of the projection design process. Magic Kingdom Bag Check Process Greatly Improved

Walt Disney often complained that Disneyland lost some magic because he couldn’t control what was outside the park gates. Disney took great care to ensure that guests entering the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida felt immersed in the experience. With recent security threats guests have felt that some of the magic has been lost by the bag check and metal detector procedures at Magic Kingdom. Disney has revamped this process to help with guest flow and bring back some of that lost magic.
