The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World is getting a highly anticipated roller coaster in Tomorrowland. Disney has released some details on the construction of the new attraction and how it will impact some of the other rides in the park. The Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen is a table service restaurant located in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida. The restaurant is themed after the popular and classic Disney attraction, The Jungle Cruise. Located in Adventureland it’s one of Disney World newest restaurants, but is it any good? After several delays and a year-long wait, the Hall of Presidents in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will reopen on December 18th, 2017. Imagineers have added the animatronic of President Donald Trump. Hit the jump for images and a video of the new animatronic in action!
Disney has announced that all Walt Disney World parks will be closing Saturday evening with hopes of re-opening on Tuesday morning. The resorts will remain open to house guests currently at Disney World. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will be completely closing since guest accommodations can not withstand hurricane force winds. Hurricane Irma is expected to impact the entire state of Florida. Disney has begun announcing the precautions they’re taking to handle the storm. Unfortunately, they have decided to cancel the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be cancelled. Irma will likely already be over Florida by this time so, I certainly don’t blame Disney. It seems like we’re reporting on hurricane’s more and more as the years go on! Last year, Disney World was hit by Hurricane Matthew, this year it looks like Hurricane Irma will be impacting the Walt Disney World area. As of Thursday morning this is one of the largest hurricanes in recorded history. It is also one of the most powerful ever in the Atlantic. The “cone of uncertainty” currently shows the entire state of Florida in the hurricane’s path. Hit the jump for more details, we’ll also keep this post updated as more information comes in.
Disney has been on a roll with their live stream events lately. I absolutely love these! It gives those of us the chance to watch an event that we’d otherwise miss. Of course, I’d rather experience these in person but when you live across the country that isn’t always possible. Disney has posted the highlights from their Fourth of July live stream. The rumored date for the re-opening of the Hall of Presidents in Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World has come and gone. Disney has announced that the attraction will be down until later this year. They are making several improvements and confirmed that President Trump will indeed have a speaking role.
Well this is one that I’m certainly not happy with. Pirates of the Caribbean is currently being refurbished and changed at Disneyland Paris. Well, Disney has announced that some of the changes being made in Paris will be coming to both Disneyland Resort and the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. After using the Quick Service restaurants in Pandora – The World of Avatar as a test bed, Disney will be expanding the newly added Mobile Order service to select Magic Kingdom restaurants. This mobile ordering service allows guests to order their food using the My Disney Experience app and simply tap a “I’m here” button at the restaurant to skip the line.
